Monday, February 20th 6:00-8:00pm @ Buffalo Wild Wings. Come out and meet the Brothers of Theta Chi over some free wings. Come with questions and get to know what we’re about and all we have to offer.

Wednesday, February 22nd 8:00-10:00pm @ California Tortilla- We will have the second floor rented out so stop by for some free nachos. If you could not make the first event, have more questions, or just want to show us how interested in us you are, make an appearance.

Tuesday, February 28th 6:00-8:00pm @ 208 East Park Place- This is the last chance to first meet our Brothers or further your relationship with them. We will be barbecuing and, weather permitting, playing corhole. We hope to see everyone here seeing as it is the last public rush event before callbacks.

UD and Theta Chi alumnus Greg Hagedoorn (2009) has announced his engagement to long time girlfriend Brooke Veenstra. Brother Hagedoorn get’s married August 10, 2012 and has created a website for the event:

Theta Chi Presents Cheer for Charity

Theta Chi presents it’s first “Cheer for Charity” philanthropic event. Each sorority will compete in a 2 minute routine against each other for a large first place trophy, a donation to their charity, and of course pride. Second place also receives a (much smaller) trophy. Each sorority receives a coach from the University of Delaware Cheer team to help them with their routine.

Performances will be on turf itself for safety reasons, so all seating will be on the turf (no chairs); So bring a blanket or something to watch and cheer for your sorority. There will be no entrance fee for the event itself, but bring some money because there will be a donation part of the event in order to raise your sorority’s points and ranking.

All money raised will be donated to our charity, The American Red Cross.

For music we have DJ Dankshyt on the tables to provide high quality sound. We also have Dan Scrutchfield photographing the event.

The rain date is October 13th, same place, same time.

Also if you would like a shirt contact your sorority representative. They are only $10 and the event picture is the front. On the back there are the letters of the ten sororities in a circle around “OX.”

Cheer For Charity - Thursday, October 6

5:30-8:30 at the Harrington Turf

Sororities compete to see who has the best cheer routine. All proceeds go to the American Red Cross.
